		<description>the .pic codec is much more cool, because is a type 64k file that you can send to anyone or install anywhere trivially, and doesn''t require having XSI installed or a mental ray license.

Also, it allows application that uses quicktime for images to load .pic file, and imf_disp has no zooming capabilities</description>
